How to play

Drag, turn, slide. The rule fits in a sentence; the boards will keep you thinking.

  1. Turn a ring

Drag around a ring to turn it. It follows your finger smoothly, as far as you like.

  2. Slip the clasp

A ring breaks free when its gap passes the clasp that holds it.

  3. Slide the rods

Rods slide out through their sleeves, once nothing is in the way.

  4. Clear the board

Free every piece to finish the board, learn its name and collect the gem locked in its centre.

New twists as you go

Mechanics arrive one at a time, and every level is checked by a solver before you see it, so there is always a way out.

  • Arms that matter

Arms on a ring turn with it and cannot pass anything, so which way round you turn matters.

  • Hooked rods and rails

Hooked rods can only leave hook first. Curved rails glide along their own arc.

  • Gears

Gears turn their partners as you turn them. Plan for both.

  • Padlocks

A padlock opens only when its key piece is gone.

  • Constellation boards

Several clusters on one board, each to untangle in the right order.

  • Always a way out

Some boards won’t give up a single piece until you turn another ring aside first, but a solver has proved every one.

Three themes: Paper, Dusk and Meadow

Play on warm paper, a deep blue Dusk board or a fresh green Meadow.

Paper is ready from the start; Dusk and Meadow unlock with an optional video.

The Dusk theme: a navy board of armed rings, with padlocked pieces.
The Meadow theme: a mirrored board with two flower-shaped cores and gear rings.

A real brain teaser

Only one or two pieces can come free at a time, and they are rarely the obvious ones.

Clasps stay behind when a ring breaks away and get in the way of whatever turns next. Each board is a little design, often in perfect mirror or rotational symmetry.

Fair and calm

No lives, no timers and no game over. Grab a piece that is still held and it gives a little shake while the clasp holding it lights up, so you always know why.
