Arrow Escape Puzzle

Dartlark

Untangle the arrows. Reveal the picture.

Tap an arrow and it slides the way it points, its body following like a little train. If its path is clear it escapes; if not, it crashes. Untangle every arrow and the picture underneath blooms into watercolour.

How to play

One simple rule, boards that never run out, and that “aha” moment when a whole tangle comes loose.

  1. Tap an arrow

It slides off the board in the direction it points, its body following behind.

  2. Mind the path

An arrow only escapes if nothing stands in its way. A crash costs a heart.

  3. Find the order

Work out which arrow goes first, untangle the board and reveal the picture.

  4. Go spotless

Clear a board without a single crash for three stars.

A simple rule with clever twists

Boards grow from tiny warm-ups into big mazes of long, winding arrows, and new ideas arrive as you play.

  • Split boards

Every third level is split into pieces: a honeycomb, a paw print, a bookshelf and more. Arrows fly across the gaps, so the pieces untangle together.

  • Bumpers

Bumpers bend an arrow’s path round a corner, so you have to trace where it will really go.

  • Padlocks and keys

A padlocked arrow holds still until the arrow carrying its key has escaped.

  • Made for real fingers

Press to pick an arrow, slide to correct a near miss, release to launch, slide off to cancel.

  • Colours that never blur

Arrows that touch never share a colour, so lines stay easy to follow on the biggest boards.

  • Hints that help

Stuck? A hint lights up an arrow that is safe to tap.

Calm, fair and never stuck

No timers, no luck and no dead ends: whatever order you clear free arrows in, the board can always be finished.

Gentle sounds and soft background music keep it cosy, and four board themes include the dark Dusk theme shown here.

A picture book of everything you free

Every board is a picture: teapots, owls, rockets, bells, snails, sailboats and dozens more.

The last arrow out sets it blooming into colour, and your level map fills up with every picture you have freed.

Zoom into the maze

On big boards, tap the magnifier and zoom into any part of the maze.

Hold an arrow to preview the path it will take; lift your finger and it stays put, so looking never costs a heart.
